Client Brief

This was a project on an extremely tight budget and to meet the Brief there was a requirement to provide a comprehensive one-stop, single point of contact service for the design, Architecture, selection of new furniture, cost control, Project Management and the Planning Supervisor role.

Project Summary:

The project had to be carried out in two phases; the first was to re-plan and refurbish the existing changing, WC and shower areas together with the provision of administration and a physiotherapy treatment room.

The second phase of the work was to extend the gym area, create a new more welcoming entrance and reception area.

The challenge was to carry out the work to a very limited budget with maximum utilisation and re-use of the existing finishes and services whilst providing a fresh solution to retain and increase the membership of the Centre.

The works were completed on programme and within the tight budgets whilst maintaining full and safe use of all facilities whilst the works were being undertaken.

The services provide by Bakersgate Developments on this project resulted in further appointments at the Oval from Surrey County Cricket Club.
